Following the refurbishment of the interior of this property, the gardens were landscaped by OPS. The palette of colours and materials from the internal space are mimicked externally to help visually enlarge the small space and disassociate the boundary between the two spaces. The masonry raised beds are painted in a similar colour to the walls within, and the iroko seating and slate tiles reflect the floor finishes of the adjoining kitchen and dining room.
The planting is largely evergreen, albeit with tonal variations through the seasons to provide year-round interest, with the focal point from the kitchen being an olive tree that is visible from the front door. Designer lighting further enhances the space at night, providing a unique vista when entertaining.
